Grayson County CodeRED

Grayson County has instituted the CodeRED Emergency Notification System - an ultra high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notifications. This system allows us to telephone all or targeted areas of the County in case of an emergency situation that requires immediate action (such as a boil-water notice, missing child or evacuation notices). The system is capable of dialing 60,000 phone numbers per hour. It then delivers a pre-recorded message describing the situations to a live person or an answering machine in the affected area possibly including instructions requiring action on the part of the recipient. Once the situation is remedied, another call will be placed to the area signaling that the issue has been addressed and that normal activities can be resumed.

examples of times when the CodeRED system could be utilized: severe weather notifications, drinking water contamination, evacuation notice & route, missing person, fires requiring your action or floods, bomb threat, hostage situation, chemical spill or gas leak, and other emergency incidents where rapid and accurate notification is essential for life safety.

AUTO- DRAFT

Auto-draft is a great way to ensure your monthly utility bill is paid on time, avoiding late fees or your water being disconnected. This option allows you to have you bill automatically drafted through your bank account. There are no additional processing fees or service fees charged to your account when the payment is drafted. UTILITY ACCOUNT NOTIFICATION SET UP

The utility account notifications system is an alert system that you can set up through your online account or with staff here at City Hall. The notification system includes e-mail and/or text message notices when your bill is ready, if you receive a late notice, and will notify you three days before disconnection date if your balance is still unpaid.

UTILITY ACCOUNT SET UP

Having an online utility account is extremely useful in keeping up with your utility service through the city. You can make a payment through your account, set it up on autopay with a card and sign up for text message/e-mail notifications for your monthly bill. To set up your online account click here.

EYE ON WATER

Powered by Badger Meter in association with your water utility, EyeOnWater lets you connect to supported water utility accounts to you see how much water you’re using and can even alert you to possible leaks on your property. The service is specifically for cellular meters. The city is currently working on installing a cellular meter for every address in Collinsville.
